Isn't this one of THE BEST feelings in the world to donate to an animal welfare group? I have done it many times. Now, I donate all of the money I receive from selling my patterns to a no-kill dog shelter inmy homestate of Indiana.
Have you ever seen the Sock Monkey pattern . . I believe it is on the Red Heart site . . it is a Christmas ornament. One year I filled them with catnip and sent them to the cat shelter here . . friends saw them and all ordered them for Christmas gifts for their cat people.
When I see how much the local Cat Welfare group has done for the strays, I felt the need to play my part :) Paula, your kindness is truly admirable!Thank you so much for your wonderful comment!
